Peter Adams

Having spent 25 years within the European glazing industry, Peter vhas considerable experience with the manufacturing, costing and management side of the business. He has worked with a wide range of glazing companies, from small installation firms to some of the industry’s largest fabricators, assuming responsibility for overseeing a number of groundbreaking projects and systems. These have included the implementation of a number of benchmarking and business efficiency systems that have saved companies large amounts of money and, in some cases, have prevented them from folding altogether. This range of experience together with Peter’s considerable business acumen and history of success has enabled him to develop unique courses for Borough Training that will enable installers to redefine how they run their companies.

Neil Whitfield

Neil has over 34 years experience in the construction industry. Beginning his career as a joiner, he has found that the foundation of a trade has helped him to develop a sensible no-nonsense approach to business. His experience as a trainer and sales professional is surpassed only by his commitment to succeed. Working at senior levels for market leaders such as Swish, Profile 22 and Floplast, he managed successful sales teams within the demanding UPVC home improvement market. Armed with this experience, Neil is able to provide a firm understanding regards all aspects of successful business development practices.

Dave Mechem

Having started 'on the tools' whilst working for his family firm during college holidays, Dave has extensive experience with all aspects of glazing installation. Starting from the bottom up, he has comprehensively worked with fabrication, fitting, servicing, surveying and finally, management. This experience led him to join the British Board of Agrement (BBA) to work as a FENSA inspector, assessing all aspects of the Building Regulations in relation to glazing installations. After over five years as an inspector, Dave was promoted to Inspection Manager and is responsible for overseeing the many thousands of FENSA inspection carried out each year. With this experience behind him, Dave is an absolute authority on all aspects of the relevant building regulations.
