What can FENSA Training do for me?
FENSA Training has been developed to provide FENSA-registered businesses with access to unique one or half-day courses in a variety of subjects. Our courses have been aimed with our registered businesses in mind and tackle a diverse range of subjects – from business management to more technical matters, our courses will provide you with the tools, know-how and expertise to succeed.
How much notice to I need to give to book one of your courses?
There is no minimum notice period for booking onto one of our 1-day courses, however space at each one is limited. In order to ensure there is space available, please contact FENSA Training either by phone or e-mail and we can confirm availability. It is possible to book last minute and indeed, you could turn up on the day in question and as long as there is space, sit down and start learning there and then.
Yourself! All necessary materials (handouts, paper, writing materials e.t.c.) will be provided on the day of the course. You may find it useful to bring a folder in order to carry paperwork home with you but you shouldn’t need to bring anything other than that.
I’ve booked a course but something unexpected has cropped up – can I cancel?
Yes, provided we are given at least 7 working days notice. If you cancel more than 7 days before the course date, we will cancel your booking with a full refund. Cancellations after this period will be charged at the full rate.
What sort of follow-up is there?
FENSA Training courses do not end on the day of the course – we have developed a comprehensive following up program including e-mail feedback, a survey and subsequent follow-up contact to ascertain how you are putting the training received into practice. Ultimately, we want our training to help YOU succeed and the only way of ensuring this is to stay in touch.
There’s an area I’d like to be trained in that isn’t listed on your site – is it possible to arrange a one-to-one course?
At FENSA Training we feel it is paramount to listen to the needs of our prospective clients and the industry in general. If there is a course you would like to see, please do not hesitate to let us know. We are constantly seeking feedback from our clients and glazing installers as to the kind of training THEY would like to receive and this is often reflected in the content of the courses as they are developed.
What official qualifications can I gain from FENSA Training?
As it currently stands, FENSA Training is not offering any certification-body recognised courses, however we are currently in the process of putting together a course that will enable our clients to obtain NVQ Level 2 qualifications in Fenestration. This will be a long time in development, nevertheless full announcements will be made and details provided as soon as this training is available through us.

Is it necessary for me to have undertaken any previous training prior to attending a FENSA Training course?
Our current list of course require no previous training. Each of the courses is self-contained and should be of equal accessibility to all attendees regardless of their educational/training background.
As we move into more technical areas, it could be that some prior knowledge would be of use to delegates – nevertheless, should this be the case we will ensure that any potential attendees are advised of this and that the course details make this very clear.
